Song Hye-kyo as Doctor Kang Mo-yeon (aka Beauty)
Jin Goo as Sergeant Major Seo Dae-young (aka Wolf)

Synopsis
Yoo Si-jin is the captain of a South Korean Special Forces unit. He catches a motorcycle thief, Kim Gi Beom, with Sergeant Major Seo Dae-young. The thief is injured during his capture and is sent to the hospital. Dae-young realizes his cellphone was stolen by the thief and goes to the hospital along with Si-jin to retrieve his cellphone. In the emergency room, Si-jin meets Dr. Kang Mo-yeon for the first time. He falls in love with her immediately. Mo-yeon mistakenly assumes Si-jin is part of the thief's criminal gang, due to his nickname "Big Boss", which is actually his call sign. He proves to her that he is a soldier with the help of army surgeon Yoon Myeong-ju.
Si-jin and Mo-yeon begin to date, but due to their jobs, their dates don't go well. Si-jin receives orders to lead his soldiers on a peacekeeping mission in the fictional country of Uruk. Meanwhile, Mo-yeon is upset because she failed to become a professor because of a colleague's privileged background. When Si-jin and Mo-yeon meet again, they talk about their views on life and realize how different they are. Si-jin, as a soldier, kills to protect lives and Mo-yeon, as a doctor honoring the Hippocratic oath, tries to save lives. They say their goodbyes. Dae-young on the other hand faces a dilemma on whether to continue with his relationship with Myeong-ju or risk being removed from the army by Myeong-ju's father, Lieutenant General Yoon Gil-joon.
Eight months later, Mo-yeon rebuffs the sexual advances of hospital director Han Suk-won and as a result is assigned to lead a medical team to Uruk. There, Si-jin and Mo-yeon meet and fall in love again. Through their encounters in Uruk—an earthquake and an epidemic—their love for each other grows stronger.

My Thoughts
Hailed as the drama of the year, this needs no further introduction. A good pre-production drama with 2 strong love-lines, which could be the next phase of K-drama. As much as I like the drama, there were times I laughed at the non-logical aspect especially towards the end.
Come Back Mister 돌아와요 아저씨

Rain as Lee Hae-joon/Kim Young-soo
Oh Yeon-seo as Han Hong-nan/Han Gi-tak

He works as a section chief in the women’s apparel section at a department store. His body is actually possessed by the spirit of Kim Young-Soo who was worked to death. Hong Nan is a beautiful woman, but her spirit is possessed by tough guy. Shin Da-Hye is a beautiful housewife, but her husband suddenly dies. She falls into a love triangle with Lee Hae-Joon and a promising store employee.

My Thoughts
Rain was really comical in the first few episodes, which was a refreshing change from his previous drama My Lovely Girl. I actually enjoyed the series, but things got draggy after the mains supposedly solved the mystery surrounding their deaths. It would have been perfect if the pace was quickened towards the end.
Cheese in the Trap 치즈인더트랩
Cast
Kim Go-eun as Hong Seol
Park Hae Jin as Yoo Jung
Seo Kang Joon as Baek In Ho
Lee Sung Kyung as Baek In Ha

Synopsis
Drama depicts the delicate relationship between female university student Hong Seol and her senior Yoo Jung. Hong-Seol works part-time due to her family's poor background. Yoo Jung is good looking, gets good grades, athletic and has a kind personality, but he has a dark side.

My Thoughts
I love this webtoon turned drama series, despite the controversy that the drama deviating from its original webtoon story line. Just for sharing - it was noticeably when the drama shortened Park Hae Jin's screen time around ep 13-14 while increasing the screen time of Seo Kang Joon. I liked both male leads, so it really doesn't matter to me! Thumbs up for the drama, must watch!

My Thoughts
This is the first drama that I watched while it was still airing week after week in Korea. There wasn't much cliffhangers, which made it okay to pause but the soundtrack was really good. Seo Kang Joon was a guest star, which was a pleasant surprise!

Awesome show that kept you tight on your toes! I had the familiar feeling while watching Phantom, so I googled and noticed that both shows were written by the same writer. I'm now officially a fan.
