a collection of the dramas that I have watched
City Hunter 시티헌터
Lee Min Ho as Lee Yoon Sung / John Lee / Poo Chai
Park Min Young as Kim Na Na
Lee Joon Hyuk as Kim Young Joo

Kim Sang Joong as Lee Jin Pyo / Steve Lee
Kim Sang Ho as Bae Shik Joong / Bae Man Deok
Jung Joon as Kim Sang Gook (Jin Pyo's henchman)
Lee Seung Hyung as Song Young Deok
Baek Seung Hyun as Park Ho Shik
Yang Jin Sung as Shin Eun Ah (bodyguard, Na Na's friend)
Lee Kwang Soo as Go Ki Joon

The story takes place in Seoul, 2011. Lee Yoon Sung is a talented MIT-graduate who works on the international communications team in the Blue House. He plans revenge on five politicians who caused his father's death with his surrogate father Lee Jin Pyo and eventually becomes a "City Hunter."

My Thoughts
Lee Min Ho show = must watch, no questions asked. This was the show that got me started on K-drama all over again after a hiatus of almost 10 years.
Dream High 드림하이
Suzy as Go Hye-mi
Kim Soo-hyun as Song Sam-dong
Taecyeon as Jin-guk/Hyun Shi-hyuk
Eunjung as Yoon Baek-hee
Wooyoung as Jason
IU as Kim Pil-sook

Six students at Kirin High School have the dream of becoming K-pop idols. During their school years, they learn how to develop their singing, songwriting and dancing skills while undergoing personal growth. They also go through their love life and start to develop feelings for each other. Each one of the students has his or her own strengths and weaknesses, but they strive to debut with the support and guidance of each other.

My Thoughts
I hereby declare Kim Soo Hyun as my 2nd love, haha! Initially, I thought it was some chick flick teenage drama. However, I find myself being glued to the TV ep after ep rooting for Kim Soo Hyun and hoped that he'll become K. The love story of Jason & Pil Sook is so funny that leaves me with stitches, lol! Park Jin Young surprised me the most with his gags. A hidden talent, I must say. Watched it twice and still keeping the drama on the iPad :)
Lie to Me 내게 거짓말을 해봐
Yoon Eun Hye as Gong Ah Jung
Kang Ji Hwan as Hyun Ki Joon
Sung Joon as Hyun Sang Hee
Jo Yoon Hee as Oh Yoon Joo
Hong Soo Hyun as Yoo So Ran
Ryu Seung Soo as Chun Jae Bum

Gong Ah Jung, a level 5 Ministry of Culture official, gets entangled in a web of lies when she mistakenly lies that she's married to Hyun Ki Joon, a hotel manager from an affluent family. Their relationship is further complicated when Ki Joon's ex-fiancée and a close friend of his brother's, Oh Yoon Joo, reappears in his life.

My Thoughts
Things got better after the coke kiss (spoiler alert!) and I do find myself re-watching several parts of the sweet moments they shared :)
My Princess 마이 프린세스
Kim Tae-hee as Lee Seol
Song Seung-heon as Park Hae-young
Park Ye-jin as Oh Yoon-joo
Ryu Soo-young as Nam Jung-woo

An ordinary college student, Lee Seol, finds out she's a princess and the great-granddaughter of the Joseon Dynasty's last Emperor, Emperor Sunjong. The grandson of the chairman of Daehan Group, Park Hae-young, is put in charge of educating Seol on proper etiquette in order for her to fulfill her role. However, Hae-young is put in a precarious situation when he finds himself drawn to Seol, the girl who will take away his inheritance if the monarchy is restored.

My Thoughts
Kim Tae Hee with Song Seung Heon, me likey! A simple fairy tale plot (not much scheming, thank god!) which makes it worth a re-watch.
Vampire Prosecutor Season 1 + 2  뱀파이어 검사
Yeon Jung-hoon as Min Tae-yeon, prosecutor
Lee Young-ah as Yoo Jung-in, prosecutor
Lee Won-jong as Hwang Soon-bom, detective
Kim Joo-young as Choi Dong-man, intern

Min Tae-yeon isn't your typical prosecutor. He has the uncanny ability to tell where the victim of his cases died, and how they died based on their blood's smell and taste. Only some people know that Tae-yeon is actually a vampire, and he drinks blood sold on the black market in the posh bars of Seoul. Along with detective Hwang Soon-bom, rookie prosecutor Yoo Jung-in and intern Choi Dong-man, they solve murder cases, and each time Tae-yeon uses his "powers" to find leads on cases that seem unsolvable. But the one thing he can't solve is the identity of the vampire who turned him seven years ago. And Jung-in soon becomes suspicious of Tae-yeon's "questionable" tactics in solving cases.

My Thoughts
Besides the usual love drama, I have a special liking towards crime investigation. Worth a watch as we venture into the supernatural worlds of (cute) vampires and crime solving.
I Need Romance 로맨스가 필요해
Jo Yeo-jeong as Sunwoo In-young
Kim Jeong-hoon as Kim Sung-soo
Choi Yeo-jin as Park Seo-yeon
Choi Song-hyun as Kang Hyun-joo
Choi Jin-hyuk as Bae Sung-hyun
Ha Yeon-joo as Yoon Kang-hee
Kim Hyung-min as Kim Deok-soo
Ricky Kim as Alex
Lee Kwan-hoon as Seo Joon-yi
Heo Tae-hee as Kim Tae-woo

This bubbly, Sex and the City-esque drama tells the story of the love lives, careers, and families of a group of twenty-and-thirty-something friends. Jo Yeo Jung is In Young, an independent, lovable woman struggling to survive in modern-day society. In this endeavor, which she tackles with confidence and grace, she's helped by friends Seo Yeon (Choi Yeon Jin) and Hyun Joo (Choi Song-hyun).

My Thoughts
Dubbed as the Korean version on SATC, I love this drama which discusses about love, career and friendship. Chio Yeon Jin shines as a striking yet different resemblance to Samantha.
