Xmas Shopping

Finally have time to sit down & blogged as we took a break from reno due to CNY season. We celebrated Xmas followed by New Year and soon, its time for CNY! I was pretty ill for the Xmas season, but fortunately, Xmas celebrations started early for me :) Headed down to Orchard to get some Xmas shopping done, wore my trusty flats!

Thankfully I wore my flats that day cuz I walked b/w ION and Taka almost 4 times, just to hunt for Leecher's shoes & not forgetting an impromptu call to MinQian to borrow her Taka card - thanks FMQ!

Before we start shopping proper, time to feed the hungry man.

Leecher was so hungry that he couldn't have the energy to pose for the camera.

Excited @ shopping later - it will be even better if Leecher were to suddenly take out his credit card and pay for my purchases (which DIDN'T happen, so sad)

Leecher ordered Black Pepper Crab Pasta while I had Chicken Portobello Kumara. In the end, we decided to swop dishes cuz we actually preferred what the other party ordered.

Before we start shopping proper, must hug Leecher tight tight so he will make my wish come true, LOL

The iconic bear Xmas tree in Taka! It's also a tradition for us to take pic at the spot whenever we finished our Xmas shopping in Taka. This year, they displayed the pink bears & changed the paper bags to a dark pink shade. So girly! And yes, that shopping bag belongs to Leecher & Leecher only while I ended up with nothing :(

The Permit

Ever since we opened the door to our love nest on 20 Oct 2010, we had to face the daunting task on making a decision on which ID to reno our love nest. In the end, we finally made our decision

Magarita's

Finally have time to on my lappie after 3 weeks! Lots of backlogs to clear, so please bear with me. Headed to Margarita's @ Dempsey for our Friday dinner with the Uni mates :)

Khim's recommendation. Since he's the driver, we cant disagree with him in case he throws us out of his car on the middle of the expressway!

Strawberry margarita's for the first session. Khim's favourite & he could easily drink 4 glasses! On a random note, I missed Morton's martinis!

We ordered lots of food to share. Apparently, nachos were a hot favourite as we ordered 2nd helpings for it. However, the rest of the dishes were a tad salty for my liking.

Short Note

Back from BKK with Leecher! Lots of shopping done, personal & for our love nest :)

Will try to blog about it when we have the time! I wish I have more time a day to complete all the stuff that I wanted to do!

Anyone has a time traveling device like Hermonie in Harry Potter? I desperately need one of it now!

Busy start to the new year!

9th day into the New Year ..... extremely busy week ever since the clock strike 12 on 1st Jan 2011.

1st Jan 2011 - spent the day with Leecher @ Geylang & Balestier to look at lightings for our new house, walked A LOT. Ended the day @ Paya Lebar looking at electronics.

2nd Jan 2011 - crossed the causeway to look at our album layout & choosing of pics for the photo frames.

3rd Jan 2011 - went to love nest to look at the installation of air con trunking, met up with designers & tilers to select materials and discussion on the wet works.

4th Jan 2011 - officially the first day back in office. Confirmed tickets, hotel & meetings for my trip.

5th to 7th Jan 2011 - flew to BKK for business trip. Leecher was sick on MC (he's just sick and not love sick, LOL)

8th Jan 2011 - arrived back in SG at 12.30am. Reached home at 2am & called lil bro to help me with my luggage. Out to love nest @ noon to look at wet works, designer sent us the proposed timeline.

Busy month(s) ahead! Can't wait to see the end product of our love nest ;) Till then, I have to forsake spending quality time with my bed!

Hectic week since the beginning of the new year - on biz travel for the first week, busy year ahead.

Leecher sent me an email with subject "For my darling". I was expecting pics from the new house when I saw this ....
