Been waiting for Qian to blog about our Good Friday KL trip, but I think most prob she will be leeching on me (again). As usual, holiday trips will be blogged in parts, so rem to stay tuned for each release!

Our brothers did the planning this time round (woohoo!) & after wks of discussion, we finally set off on one of the (greatest) road trip ever! Full attendance, in fact!

Early morning meetup with ZZG, who came over to pick up at 5.30am! He even called me before I could call him to wake him up. Turned out that he was out the whole night and went back home to pick up his stuff b4 coming over. Gathered at Kranji station bus stop & met up with the rest at 6am. Ryan & ZZG drove their cars in and surprisingly, we made it across the checkpoint first.

We had time to cam-whore while waiting for Ryan's Audi to arrive. Who says Mazda cannot beat Audi? We just proved it that we can :P

Met up with the Jbians - Fling & Joe. Abandoned ZZG's car @ Fling's carpark and switched to Joe's Harrier.

Joe, our cute driver for the day.

Qian & me took Joe's car while Fling & Miao took Ryan's car.

Greenery along North South Highway.

Stopped over @ one of the pit stop for our A&W breakfast!

We concussed after the hearty breakfast, leaving the drivers alone on our ride up to KL. Kudos to Ryan & Joseph!

After 3hrs journey, we arrived at a place we called our 2nd home in KL! Love this apartment.

Freshen up before leaving the apartment for shopping & high tea.

Had our high-tea @ Chinoz, located at KLCC.

2 tiers ... wished it came in 3 tiers though!

Miao's hot chocolate before adding milk. Gosh, really pure chocolate & you decide on the amount of milk poured in.

Hot chocolate!

Tai-Tais in the making :)

Ordered more food to feed 4 eating machines.

with my lovely sisters! We always have lots to talk & bitch about.

Ok, time to sign off for my weekly dose of drama. To be continued in the next few postings :)

A lazy afternoon

Off for another beach getaway ....

Kidding! Usually at this time of the year, I'll be on a plane with Leecher for our annual getaway. However, we are staying put in Singapore this time round, as reno works are soon to commence at our love nest :) *though i do wish i'm decked out in my winter clothings in a far away place though :p

So, we have officially downgraded from a beach holiday to an evening in East Coast Park.

Looks like Leecher is quite enjoying his walk, that I almost had a hard time catching up with him. Well, he's being lured by

Alcohol and all sorts of mixers! The makeshift bar counter. This was Natasha's farewell party, as she was going to be based in HK to be close to Ben. Thanks to Rinta & Kevin for the coordination work.

with Tasha and Andrew.

Coincidentally, we were both dressed in white. Telepathy? Hmm...

with Eric and Andrew. I wished I wore red though.

Pity Eric and Elliott went off earlier, if not, we would have a complete team picture.

What's a BBQ without chicken wings? The buffalo wings are damn good that they were gone within seconds! I ordered it for Joe's party thereafter :)

Prawns - equally tasty!

The chefs behind all the good food! If you are a fan of 国记交意所, you will recognise Michael who is the US cow boy in the show.

He's so funny & able to switch from english to singlish effortlessly with his lah and lor.

As it was getting dark, we headed off to Parkway Parade in search for more food. Took this picture as prove that I've wore my Aladdin shoes out, as Leecher was adamant that I will only wear this pair of shoes for 5 times max. So going to prove him wrong, hmp!

Jay Chou World Tour

Yup an exciting day for me as it was my virgin paid-out-of-my-own-pocket concert.

Courtesy of my colleague if not I wouldn't be able to get my hands on the tics.

At the entrance.

Just look at the queue. If I'm not wrong, our tickets was the second added night. The organisers added a third night due to the sold out crowd.

We went on a weekday, no time for dinner except to grab a quick bite from subway.

All the Jay Chou collectibles.

The crowd, all the way to the top.

The stage which was covered in black to keep us in suspense.

Finally, 'he' appeared!

And disappeared again... ...

Finally, the 'real' him was in the ball.

A lot of computer graphics used in this concert, lighting up the stage in different colours.

However, he was so far away, it was better to just watch the screen.

Whoa out came the piano. At least no more graphics, was starting to get a bit disappointed. I was expecting more props and stuffs, but Blamer was telling me that he was getting old le, cannot jump around anymore.

Fireworks! At least getting some of my money's worth.

Suddenly a gigantic Jay appeared. Machiam like gorzilla. Wa ha ha.

Yup that spells the end to my virgin paid-out-of-my-own-pocket concert, couldn't really "connect" with this concert with Jay singing most of the new songs from the new album.

On our way back to take the MRT, we witnessed quite a sight. How can SBStransit or SMRT say they are not earning $$$???

Another Date :)

Date with Leecher, again! This time round, we headed to Coffee Club @ Border's.

I wasn't feeling very hungry due to late lunch, so we decided to order just one appetizer and main course to share. Anyway, food always taste better when sharing with Leecher :)

Full house on a Friday night. It's quite a nice chill out place where you can relax and/or read a book away from the noise.

Leecher ordered Berrylicious juice for me, love ya!

Leecher with his kuku specs, which looks like

Wa ha ha! Now you can see the resemblance.

Skewered Inferno BBQ wings that tasted more of braised than BBQ.

I think we ordered the half & half sandwich, can't really remembered what it contains though. Poor memory.

Food was kinda disappointing, but nevertheless, a good place for catching up on lost time.
