We opened the doors, only to be greeted with ....
Unlike our previous Bali trip, I didn't plan any activities for this trip. We decided to take things easy & just chill/relax - no rushing of time, just sleep and wake up naturally every day. I even switched off my daily alarm and not to be disturbed by any phone calls.
The helpers bringing our breakfast, which we ordered the night before. They will only start preparing our breakfast upon receiving our call when we woke up.
Brunch for we slept till 10.45. I ordered pancakes - imagine my shock when my pancake arrived, clustered with large chunks of banana, which I absolutely dislike. Leecher went for continental breakfast, with eggs, bread and sausages.
So today, we decided to nua @ the pool. The helpers tidying the deck and brought out the lounge chairs for us.
I brought along my reading material - The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown. I loved his works, esp Da Vinci Code & Angels and Demons. I gotten hold of this book long ago, but didn't have the luxury of time to flip the pages till this trip.
Leecher reading his book at the shady end of the pool.
We were feeling hungry, so we snacked on ice cream.
Climbing the mini stairs to our villa.
We saw that the helpers were busy setting up the place for our candlelight dinner.
We just spend the whole afternoon reading our books and chilling out at the pool. Around 4pm, we followed Lisa (the manager of the villa) to a nearby supermarket to stock up on grocery.
Waiting for the car!The villa where we were staying were kinda out of town, so it took around a 20m drive to city centre where civilization exist. Lisa brought us to this supermarket which was frequent by the locals. We began combing the place in search for titbits, filling our basket to the brim!

Candlelight must have wine! We got a bottle of red wine courtesy of the villa for our honeymoon.
We had a 3 course meal - wasn't that fantastic (and we think they should just specialize in cooking local food instead of western) but it was a good experience to dine by the pool and looking at the stars.
After dinner, we just sat by the edge of the pool, soaking our feet in the water while sipping red wine before retiring for the night. And, a day just went passed without us knowing it :)
