KTV with AF Gang
Another round of KTV Session with the AF Gang. This time, we have Marcus & Weiming joining us :)
Yes, this is really touch-screen, as opposed to the previous time where I faked Fa-ge.
Guess what is Leecher playing with?
Not an Ipad, but made to look like one. I had great fun playing with this Ipad replica, cuz it allows you to pause the song halfway and we started playing 百万大歌星. I made the guys racked their brains over the lyrics. We were deeply impressed by Weiming as he managed to sing his way through all Jay Chou's songs. He must be really a great fan!

A Random Saturday
When lil bro is out = chance for me to use the laptop = blogging! Can't wait to use my new laptop once I have set it up :)
XQ was starting work in his new workplace and I recommended him the place where Leecher tailors his clothes. So, the guys met up and went to the shop first.

The place was crowded on Saturdays! The shop is enjoying very good business, mainly based on recommendations from other patrons. Leecher used to collect his clothes 1 mth after placing orders, yet now, he has to wait for 2 to 2.5 mths.
Next, we headed to Qian's place for MJ session! Qian's mum made buns for us, so nice of her!
Went JP for dinner. It was way too crowded with the new extension mall. Still prefer the old wing more, as there's where we used to hang out during JC days. Passed Miao her Agnes B bag from Japan and used it to represent Fling, as she couldn't join us for the session :p Fling, we love you so much that there's even a little heart at the bottom!
Way back in Dec 2009, with my freshly cut fringe.

*A forgotten draft that got published 9 months later *
A surprise on my bdae!

Washed up and rushed to Zhou's Kitchen with Leecher & family for my bdae meal! Wa ha ha, time to put Leecher's wallet on the chopping board.

PS: Leecher also 赚到 2 X Bdae treat from me this year, more on that in the later postings.

D.O.M.V.S
Blamer here: This is the 1st of the Bdae treat that Leecher got this year - look out for his 2nd bdae treat!

Zillion thanks to FMQ's fast fingers. We arrived early at Sheraton for another gastronomic delight.
D.O.M.V.S pay as u wish deal, limited to the first three participants who managed to register on their website. I was planning to win it for Blamer's birthday last year but wasn't fast enough. Really wonder how FMQ managed it.
First dish, Foie gras terrine with cremona mustard. The foie gras was too thick on its own but if you eat it spread over the biscuit, it's heavenly.
Second dish was asparagus soup with pan seared scallop, truffle foam. I prefer the asparagus grilled than cooked in soup form, too mushy for me. Soup on the other hand was really good.
Homemade beef cannelloni pasta with cherry tomato, leek sauce. This tasted a bit like beef bolognese spaghetti.
The main dish Grilled beef tenderloin with herbs crust Parmesan cheese served with potato confit. Make no mistake this time, I ordered the same thing as Blamer wa ha ha.
See the reddish pink hue in the centre? Done medium well. This, in my opinion, was the highlight of the night. Especially loved it when it's slightly charred at the sides.

Every girl's favourite dish, desserts: Lemon creme mille - feuille with strawberry compote and mint jelly cubes.

FMQ fore-warned us about the mint jellies which tasted a bit like our good old Colgate. Not that bad actually... ...
Crunch time! The ultimate test of honesty. "How much do you think the meal is worth?"
Overall still a good experience. Zillions of thanks to FMQ once again for your nimble fingers!
