Japan Day 13 P5

Final installment for Day 13 *phew* We proceeded to Critter Country after leaving Toontown, for another exciting ride :)

Critter Country, a land where small animals from Disney film "Song of the South", known as "critters" made their own. Critters' burrows and little homes can be seen throughout the area, specially on the slopes of Splash Mountain.

Splash Mountain is an extremely popular ride. Thus, we obtained the FP for it at 1pm and we can only ride it at 9.15pm (+.+)"

Splash Mountain is a log flume attraction, based on characters, stories & songs from the film "Song of the South". It begins with a peaceful outdoor float which leads to indoor dark ride segments & ending with an extremely steep drop into a "briar patch" as the finale. Our caught-in-action picture before the steep drop.

Another trip back to Fantasyland for Peter Pan's Flight! With some pixie dust, the pirate ship will fly us through the night skies of London & continued its journey to Neverland.

Getting ready for the night parade, where you will be treated to an array of "Christmas Fantasy"

Coming!

The all mighty Fairy Godmother .... I wished I had a godmother like her!

Warriors on their horses.

Mickey, Minnie & Pluto decked out in Xmas wear.

Alice in Wonderland...which I haven't caught the movie!

Know why she had got the bu shuang look on her face?

Cuz her partner is having a fun time flirting with the audience .... thus, slowing down the pace.

The Disney Princesses made their appearance: Snow White & the 7 dwarfs, Cinderella and Beauty & the Beast. Speaking of which, this reminded me of an inside joke:

R: Why does every girl thinks she's a princess?
Leecher (turning to me): Ya, why huh?
Me: Cuz I once received a card from you saying "My dearest Princess" .... so it's you who called me Princess first, duh!

Me & FMQ bursted out laughing afterwards .... lol. So guys, see, it all started with you ~

Peter Pan & Wendy, together with Captain Hook.

Winnie the Pooh & friends.

Disney Pixar characters such as Toy Story, Monster Inc & Finding Nemo. Why no Wall E & Eva?
So unfair :(

The enchanted castle at night. It was very difficult to capture the whole of the castle without us being reduced to ants.

Mickey & Minnie on their private skating ring.

Against the backdrop of the castle.

Lots of presents stacked up for Dumbo and friends! I wanna pick my present too!

The gigantic Xmas tree decked out in lights and decorations nestled in front of World Bazaar, which is the gateway area to the Park. You can do your last min Disney purchases here before stepping out to the main entrance.

Giant Pooh but Leecher refused to let me buy :(

Even small Pooh also no talk. I think he's just jealous that I will hug Pooh instead of him, lol

Cute Donald duck cap, but what's with the constipated look?

Perfect headband for my hen's night.

Disney mascots just for Xmas season.

It was pouring by the time we left Disneyland, as if Heaven was shedding tears & feeling sad that such an enjoyable day has come to an end.

Japan Day 13 P4

After Mickey's house, we paid a visit to Minnie's house, where we enjoyed the sweet charm of her little cottage. The queue is much shorter @ Minnie's though.

Minnie's house is painted in pink & purple ... I like!

Personalised mailbox for Minnie!

At Minnie's front door. It felt like a housewarming visit into these character's places.

I wanna have a couch like that in our love nest! I can totally imagining lying on the couch & resting my head on Leecher's lap with a book in my hands. What will Leecher be doing? Erm, dozing off as usual, lol!

A sweet picture of Mickey & Minnie on the table top *so romantic*

Washing my hands in the basin .... the whole setup exuded the cheery mode that even doing housework seemed fun! (Leecher here: ok I will set up the kitchen like this then you will do all the housework ok??)

Leecher caught in the act of stealing food from the fridge!

Next, we visited Chip & Dale's Treehouse.

Our chipmunk pals have built their home in a big oak tree, which guarantees them a constant supply of acorns.

The whole house was decorated with acorns, down to the magnets used on the "noticeboard".

Got crispy spring rolls, one of Toontown's favourite snack. It's filled with eggs, yummy!

In this wacky-looking house that could only belong to Goofy, kids can literally bounce off the walls and furniture. However, it was closed for maintenance & I think only kids of a certain age/height are allowed to enter.

A Toon-sized roller coaster meant for kids. It may be small, but it offered plenty of fun and thrills as it splashed through Toon Lake.

Floating on Toon Lake is the Miss Daisy, a boat that belonged to Donald Duck & named after his beloved. Awww.....so sweet!

Donald Duck's mischievous nephew -Huey, Dewey & Louie's - are owners of Good Time Cafe, where we grabbed our Mickey Mouse Pizza! Even the packaging is kawaii :)

How I wished I could live in Toontown, surrounded by people I love! Oh, a note to all my frens: we can form a mini Toontown in the north-east part of the country, where I will be moving to in a couple of months time! heehee! I already know of a couple who are eligible for it :) *yes, you, you & you!*
