On the actual day, the committee arrived bright & early @ Summerville walk in preparation for the event. The task: to transform Ryan's place into a spooky mansion for the theme party.

They spent a lot of effort in transforming the place & even Coco did his part (yes, Coco is male with a feminine name)

They really did a great job at transforming the place, don't they? Behind all these decors, let us ushered in the party of the year .....

Halloween @ Summerville 2010 P1

The last month of the year, which means I need to dig through my wardrobe for all the parties & gatherings that I'm attending :) Yippee, love parties!

Before that, Leecher & me attended the most fabulous Halloween Party of the year. Kudos to the committee for their hard work and effort in making this party a success. They really go deep down into the details ....

You may have noticed that this post is entitled P1 :) Yes, I've decided to break down into parts to blog, cuz there's so much to blog about! When we received the invitation, we were all beaming with excitement on what to wear for the event. Soon, we arranged to meet up @ Bugis in search for costumes, but before that, have to feed the hungry stomachs :)

Went to this restaurant as recommended by Miaoli. They serve yummy xiao long baos though, much better than Ding Tai Feng.

After filling our stomachs, we went to Costumes and Mascots, a place that Leecher & I chanced upon while meeting up with our designers.

Leecher looking through the huge selection of outfits on display. He was so bent on going as Hulk or Mr Incredible, but his hopes were tarnished when I told him that he was FAT not FIT >.<

Good Friday KL Trip 2010 Day 3

When you're having fun, you tend to lose track of time. Without knowing it, it's time for us to pack up and head back to SG.

Up and early to check out and head for breakfast!

Our local guide aka Joe brought us to this 酿豆腐 shop for our breakfast.

Ordered a few of their signature dishes & thumbs up for the chicken wings!

Chewing gum in cube form, like cube sugar :) Lost count of the # of gums that we chewed over these few days.

The bros heard our pleas to detour into Malacca, just so we girls could satisfy our laksa cravings, love them! Back @ Jonker street in bright daylight & it looked so different, quiet and serene.

Brothers even queued up for our laksa for us - they sure spoil us rotten, wa ha ha!

Our favourite! Yum Yum! *mental note to myself not to blog about food when I'm hungry.

Time to head back to JB & it was night time when we reached. Gathered @ Fling's place carpark to retrieve ZZG's car and I had this impromptu idea to take a picture of the cars & us. Surprised that our brothers gamely shifted their cars! Told you our brothers really dote on us & will accede to most of our requests, heehee.

Good Friday KL Trip 2010 Day 2

Rise & Shine! Time to get ready for Day 2 of our KL trip :)

Took the harrier with Miao, with Joe as our local tour guide. After a long ride, we finally arrived the recommended place for our brunch! Cheers to Joe for his efforts!

The best 海鲜面 ever! ZZG was so mesmerized with this that he kept posting he missed the 海鲜面 on his FB, days after we came back from our trip.

Time to head up to Genting, as the guys were dying to try their luck in the casino. Joe forgot his red underwear and we girls had to go shopping for his red boxers the day before.

Headed to Coffee Bean for desserts. Quite an experience sitting outdoors in the cold with cakes and hot chocolate. Oh, Ryan did a "Ryan" at this particular place as well. *sniggers at the thought of it*

Time to head back to KL! It was so misty that Joe & Ryan had to drive carefully on the way down. As for the rest of us, we have complete faith in them to send us back safely that we dozed off once we hit the back seats :)
