CNY with brothers & sisters
CNY reunion dinner with sisters & brothers @ Wah Lok, Carlton Hotel.
The restaurant was filled with people. Thankfully Qian called a day before to secure a table for us!
Black-velvet menu, which don't really gel with the chinese entrance of red banners.
Ordered the small yusheng to lo-hei!

Huat ar! Wish that Leecher will pamper me more in the coming years, LOL!
The dim sum meal was quite good on average, though a bit pricey. Skip the yee fu noodles if possible.

CNY 2011
CNY, one of my fave festivals :) For girls, it's always an excuse to go shopping for new clothes & thanks Jun for her help in buying the dress for me! Decided to go oriental this year with an inspired cheongsam for the 1st day :)
Now, I have to find another occasion to wear this again :(
Leecher, in his "you're nothing without me" T-shirt from BKK. So, the tagline is a sign that he's really nothing w/o me? LOL
What's CNY without gambling? The usual set-up @ granny's place on Chu 2 with the cousins. Mummy & lil bro were all playing against Leecher and ended up $X amount richer, haha!
Me pai-nianing to Leecher, in the hope that he will present me with a big angpao. Wasted my efforts :(
Accompanied Auntie & Uncle to visit Leecher's relatives on Chu 3.
with the dearest who's trying to hide his double-chin that has developed further from the few days of feasting.
Went to the love nest on Chu 4.
Having passed 15 days of CNY, I have officially ended my angpao collecting "career", wa ha ha.

Lo Hei with AF Gang
The annual meet up with the AF Gang for lohei at Sakae Sushi. Thanks to Winston for organising.
To make things easier, we ordered the party set to share.
New product. Kani Chawanmushi. Either it's been ages since I visited Sakae or this is a new product. But I find that the original version is much better, with wider variety of ingredients than the Kani version which comprises of just crab meat.
Other side orders to go around.
Finally, the highlight of the day.
We took turns putting the ingredients onto the plate and saying Ji Li Hua.

CNY meet-up with Fling
Yeah, finally snatched dent dent back from Leecher. Even when dent dent was with him, he didn't attempt to blog & said he was busy - busy maintaining his bakery, LOL!
Anyway, time to start on CNY proper. It's now March and hey, I'm only 1 month behind! That's a great achievement :) Met up with Fling over dinner for another round of gossiping *winks*
Despite the frequent changes in menu, this dish is a staple and I'll always end up ordering crabmeat linguini with pine nuts, tomatoes and parsley.
Marmalade Pantry is well-known for their cupcakes and I felt a tinge of sadness when they moved out from Change Alley :( Cuz it meant that I can't get my dosage of cupcakes anymore. The cupcakes were sold out and we had to settle for blueberry tart instead :(
With the dearest sister, love ya! Rem to organise the next outing ya, the pact that we made over dinner :P
