Pre-Wedding Trip to BKK P1

I was kinda stressed out over the wedding preparations that I decided that we should go on a pre-wedding trip to unwind 1 month before the wedding, haha! Fling was telling me that we super ga-rang, 1 month before the wedding still can go on a 1 week trip, haha! It was a much needed trip for us, as we had left our wedding plans in SG while we flew to BKK for lots of shopping & food!

Based from our experience from the previous trip, we decided to travel light and only pack the essentials!

Late lunch @ Delifrance, as we are traveling budget!

I couldn't book us on an earlier flight, so have to make do with a later timing :(

Haha, entertaining ourselves on board the no-entertainment flight. Normally, I'll be trying to catch some sleep while Leecher plays with his phone.

2 hours later, we landed! Leecher entrusted the task of being the porter. Don't say I bully him hor - I use my brains while he uses labour, haha!

As soon as we hit a familiar surrounding, he passed my luggage back to me ... this is what we called 过河拆桥.

We'll be alighting at the last stop of the airport rail this time round.

This time, our accommodation is really budget to the max, but the place is very clean and with lots of space to put our loots :) As it was rather late & raining, we decided to pack our meals from the nearby convenience shops. Looks pathetic? Well, it didn't look so from the packaging at all! My green curry rice only came with 5 miserable small fish-balls.

**********

So we had a good night sleep and woke up for breakfast the next morning.

They have 12 dishes for breakfast - 6 local and 6 american/english.

We both went for thai breakfast for the 1st day.

We stayed at Lemonseed this time round. It's really a B&B, so don't expect anything fanciful.

The usual walk to Platinum Mall! Yeah! Shopping time :)

Settled our lunch @ the food court, with our fave thai ice tea, yum yum!

Crepes from a random stall on the roadside.

Their version of lok-lok - but I say skip this if you can. Nothing fantastic and the food tastes rubbery.

I couldn't locate the roadside stall that we visited in Jan, so settled for another one instead. Not as nice as I thought it would be, so I left majority of the food untouched & went to 7-11 for noodles instead.

Time to unwrap the presents!

We woke up on Boxing Day all excited to open up our presents! I initially wanted to open them on Xmas day, but Leecher said presents have to be opened on Boxing day. So I asked if I can "box" him if I don't get my expected presents on Boxing day and he was so confident that he replied that I'll definitely be pleased with my present.

Presents underneath the tree, being guarded by our lil precious :)

Leecher's side of presents

My side!

Since it was the 1st Xmas that we are celebrating as a married couple, I decided to be innovative and prepared 3 different presents for the dearest, heehee~

I got him a mop head, in my fave shade of purple, since he's in charge of mopping! haha! Love the expression when he tore open the present & saw what's inside. Damn funny!

The 2nd present was for Jet! A sponge for Leecher to wash Jet :) Super 贴心 LOL!

Lastly, the double surprise!

Haha! Tio smoked! Kidding lah! I where got so meanie? Leecher got a new phone for Xmas, just that it came 1 month later cuz that bugger couldn't make up his mind what phone he wanna buy. I needed a prop for Xmas, so I borrowed my bro's iphone box for show.

My only Xmas present from Leecher!

Chloe by Chloe perfume & body lotion! That Leecher still confidently said that I'll be happy, but he forgot that he bought me the same perfume 6 months ago! Nevertheless, this is one of my perfume staple & no, I didn't get to box Leecher for the gift cuz he claimed that it was something that I wanted :p

Baby Kaela's 1st Xmas

Leecher's Sec school gang came over for a round of feasting during Xmas period.

Added reindeers to the cosy corner :)

The presents for gift exchange all underneath the Xmas tree.

Baby Kaela in her adorable outfit and head-band, all dressed up for the occasion.

It was her 1st Xmas celebration with us! She has grown a lot since the last visit :)

She's like the Energizer bunny - always full of energy!

Leecher getting ready all the glasses for lots of drinking, while I chilled my fave Riseling to share with the girls.

Potluck for the occasion, as we all had work commitment before dinner.

Getting hungry looking @ the food spread.

Leecher & Jacq preparing salad to add a healthy dosage to our meaty meal.

Our massive spread for the night!

Red for the guy and white for the girls.

Taking a break from all the feasting, stomach was way too bloated!

Xmas log cakes for desserts, yum yum!

Kaela was actually afraid of Leecher! Throughout the night, whenever Leecher got close to her, she will burst out in tears, haha! We reckoned that Leecher was dressed in dark colours, so in her baby mind, she saw a big bad wolf, haha! So when we took the picture, I was carrying her in a way that she won't see what's behind her. Somehow, she managed to sense Leecher's presence and burst out crying!

Poor mummy had to pacify her.

Finally calmed down after coaxing. And we forbid Leecher from going near her for the rest of the night, LOL!

Xmas exchange time! We listed all our names according to alphabetical order and the person will have to get a gift for the one below his/her name. So, I had to buy present for Gavin.

Pressie from Gavin to Huaiqin. Machiam like award presentation.

Huaiqin to Jacq

Jacq to Baby Kaela

Guess what? Baby Kaela was tasked to buy Leecher's present! No wonder she dun like Leecher, haha!

Quick picture before she turned on the taps again :p

Raymond to Sheena

Sheena to Shuya

Lastly, Shuya to me!

A lovely bag-charm from Agnes B! Thanks lots!! I hope it won't open the floodgate to bag-charms collection, lol!

Ended the night with a group pic, in the midst of laughter & cries :)
