Taiwan: JSP & 永和豆漿

December, the last month of the year. A month of celebrations, for it's my fave month, with my bdae & xmas celebrations! It also meant that another year is approaching and time to re-organise your goals for the coming year :) For me, I just wanna finish blogging about the TW family trip that we had, haha! Yes, I know that has been a long while back, but before I start to grow older and more memory space being taken up, this lil space of mine will serve as a reminder of all the memories that I wanna keep :)

We ventured outside for breakfast & I brought them to one of my fave breakfast place in TW, JSP burger 甲尚宝小吃店. We went to the one located at Ximending. This is a very popular breakfast chain with pocket friendly prices.

Everything was so yummy, I can easily polished off a burger (must add eggs!). Parents-in-laws also gave the thumbs up for this.

After filling our stomach, we departed for Yangmingshan for sightseeing.

When we reached the top of the hill, it began to rain, so we had to abandon our plans and headed for other destination instead.

Waiting for bus 230. Thankfully it was just drizzling, but as soon as we boarded the bus, it started to pour.

This tasted pretty much like spicy yam cake, found at some stall along the streets leading to their MRT station.

Another round of feasting @  永和豆漿, for their supposedly famous soyabean drink and you tiao. 永和豆漿 is a popular 24-hour outlet located throughout the city, and we headed to the one near Shilin MRT station.

It was way after breakfast hours, so the place was relatively empty.

We had 2 cameras clicking away at the same time, so it took us 3 tries before we got the right picture, haha!

Lim's brothers got it right the 1st time round, and both dressed in white!

Check out the you tiao!

My 1st time trying out 豆漿油条 in Taiwan and JJ Lim's song 豆漿油条 kept replaying in my mind, haha! Nevertheless, it was an interesting combination.  My personal favourite is 蛋餅, which comes with pork floss & bits of spring onions.
I actually like this random shot taken by Roger :) I've forgotten what we were giggling about though.
