This was supposed to be an outing to celebrate Yaozu's "release from long torturing nights of studying". Decided to try out this cheerfully decorated eatery.
Can't believe that I'm the first one to reach the place, waited a good 45 mins b4 any of the late comers turned up. Luckily I had newspapers with me to help pass the time. plus I thoroughly read thru their menu, so I can tell u more about the cafe. (nah, here's the link http://missclaritycafe.com/index.html)
By the way, this is our time number. 4D anyone? Table 10, 2 guys, 2 girls.. .. 1042?!!
None of them order any drinks, but since I am so hot after waiting 45 mins for them, I ordered their cucumber cooler. Eh... I think u guys can give this a miss though, unless u're a cucumber lover.
Yaozu, Fionn and me added additional $3.80 for the soup + drink + dessert and a main. Extra Blamer ordered the Foie Gras for starters + a main.
Our mushroom soup. U can really taste the fresh mushroom in the soup, but frankly speaking. I prefer those Campbell tasting mushroom soup. Hee.
Ha! This is my lamb ratatouille. I thought it was supposed to be a soup after watching the movie Rataouille, but it seems like ratatouille just means tossed stewed vegetables.
This Yao zu's Black Angus Prime Sirloin. Looks really yummy no? Like the sauteed mushrooms best.
The person who was the last to arrive ordered Garlic-Crusted Dory. (right hor?) She kept saying she looked "chui". Hmm what do u guys think? See below:
Dessert time! Mud Oooz. Supposedly a must try dish. I think it's not bad but Blamer disagree leh. Maybe too spoiled with all her biz trip.
After dinner, we went for some drinks at a very Chi-na looking place.
Blamer seems very excited about the gigantic Hoegarden glass and wanted to snap a pic with it. Whoa look at her biceps.

Supper with Brothers & Sisters
Ron (always MIA) gathered all of us for supper when he was feeling bored one evening. Thus, being the ever accommodating sisters, we all meet up with him .... despite the 1/2 hr notice
Ron initiated the supper, but only Miao & I ordered food >_<" My usual cheese prata & Miao's mushroom & cheese prata Ryan who joined us after his poker games ...
Went back to Hall 3 for chit-chatting session with ZZG & frens. The hall pet, Starlight became the attraction instead.
We certainly had lots of laughter that night, for we stumbled upon something that is deemed to be the "greatest" secret..... *this shall be kept within us, :P*
Ron - 看我们真给你面子, 说去就去.

Wedding Bells
Leecher and I went to attend a church wedding of my cousin. Technically, she is supposed to be of the same status of my mother, but somehow, I always call her 姐姐 and thought that she is my cousin. I love attending weddings - I will always feel happy for the couple in love; but this is my first time attending a church wedding :) another experience.
The cute flower gal & page boy; so adorable. I used to be a flower gal when I was around 5 yrs old ...
Giving the daughter to her husband, who will take care of her from now onwards
Father Anthony Ho is the witness for the solemnization. He is quite a funny guy and added interesting anecdotes and comments that brought lots of laughter to the occasion. The ceremony was filled with songs, laughter and happiness.
The couple sealing their fate by signing their names on the marriage certificate.
Had lunch at the church - the laksa is so delicious that me & Leecher had 5 bowls, opps :X
Wearing my newly purchased Victoria Secrets smocked dress ... ya, recently I am a VS addict, which means lots of damage done to my wallet.
Went to Leecher's place and we had dinner outside with his parents at Hougang Ave 8. Yummy!
Took this @ the bus stop opposite his place - I made my own way home via public while he continued to NUA at home, haha....
Halfway through my journey, Miao called me and we went out for supper; more on that post later :)

Can't believe little Isaac has grown so much since the last time I seen him! I wanted to carry him, but gave up the idea when his mummy said that he might pull off my smocked dress, haha. So Leecher had to carry him ... look @ how happy he is! Little Isaac is ever ready for the camera, see, he is smiling at the camera :)

Team Dinner @ Indochine
It's one of the rare times whereby we have both Crispy and Richard in SG office, thus we went for a team dinner @ Indochine Waterfront.
Ordered drinks to kick off the night. I took a gamble and ordered appletini (bottom left), to my surprise, it tastes good!
We were seated @ the bar while the waiter arranged a table for us. Somehow, I managed to capture this artistic pic of Richard unintentionally.
The sky turning dark - which serves as a signal that it's time to proceed indoors and have our feast.
The members of our team - Eric, Elliott, Andrew, Natasha and me. It's a pity that Rinta went for her holidays. Don't worry, we will help you to eat your share :P
Crispy in the house; think he must be busy preparing for his wedding. Hope you have found ur ring!
I was starving by the time we sat at the table. I was busy gobbling down the crackers when it hit me that these are not prawn crackers but a mixture of prawn & crab. Interesting, talking about fusion ar. I was given the honour to taste the white wine - my, it's very smooth & has a fruity taste, I like!
We were served with a lime sorbet before they serve the main course. Sorbets are traditionally served between the starter course and main course in order to cleanse the palate
Fillet of Halibut - the fillet is pretty fresh, but somehow I managed to see the fish bones. All these while, I thought fillet is boneless?
Marinated chicken in lemon juice - it would definitely taste better if they didn't add in mint leaves.
Cambodian tiger prawns - this is the best of all, cuz I am a sucker for prawns.
Cambodian style chilli and basil chicken - tender chicken, though it would taste better if it's more spicy.
Indochine grilled scallops - Eric's fave though he is allergic to seafood.
Grilled beef of champasak - you can nv go wrong with beef this restaurant.
Pan Fried tofu - soft andhave a slight tinge of butter to it.
Next up, desserts! I tried the spicy chocolate previously, so we decided to try something new today. Natasha can't wait to attack!
Indochine's Temptation (recommended) - consists of chestnut parfait, black sesame ice cream, bua loy-Laotian dessert (a mix of taro, pumpkin and pandan flavours) complete with red bean compote.
Tiramisu - heavenly. Love the chocolate flakes at the top.
Chocolate fudge torte - dense chocolate sponge layered with Valrhona chocolate mousse.
It turns out that Natasha is very much a dessert person, she also promised she will make desserts for us. Natasha, if you are reading this - you have to fulfill your promise, wa ha ha :P

ECP Outing
Yeah, it's one of those healthy weekends where we are up from our bums to do some exercise. Venue this time is East Coast Park with Roger and Xiufeng!
Since I'm the only one who knows how to blade, the rest of them had to get their wheels from this shop. Apparently nowadays, the shops gives out free drinks with every rental. Wow, tough competition.
I wonder is it me or does it happen to everyone? Whenever I come for outing at ECP, there's bound to be rain sooner than later. In the end, we had to seek shelter at the now defunct big splash. Had brunch at KFC.
After the rain we continued our exercise regime. Managed to reach the finishing point earlier than the "slow coach" couple, hence cam-whore! Ha ha.
After ECP, we went to the hawker centre at old Airport Rd for a snack.
Da Bao-ed goodies from this banana fritters stall. Their fritters are so fragrant that it makes us hungry even after all the noodles and dumplings.
