Off the Sydney

I was scheduled to go to Sydney for a 3D2N business trip. As I didn't want to step into the office once the plane landed, I decided to go one day early - that means that my Sunday is spent on the plane, crossing across the ocean to fly to Sydney.

Woke up at 5.45am on a Sunday morning to prepare and went to fetch Leecher, who took the effort to accompany me to the airport -hugs- It turned out that I mis-calculated the timing - my flight is at 9.40am, thus, I need to be at the airport around 8.15am (since I did internet check-in the day before). I told myself that it would take 1h 15 mins for me to travel from CCK to Hougang to Changi Airport and with some time for allowance for the traffic jam. When I was at Hougang, it suddenly occured to me that its Sunday - there wont be any jams! Arg!

Arrival at Changi Airport Terminal 3 - well, at least we can kill time by exploring the place :)

His "sulky" face for being up so early due to my mis-calculated timing

Wow, the airport looks cool ~

Pardon me for looking "cui", need to fly for 8 hrs, must be comfortable

Leecher's smiling face when I promised to treat him to breakfast

That's my flight - wanted to book myself on the A380, but the timing was so off

Leecher is pointing to our next holiday destination *hint hint*

Trying to act pai kia in the airport

At the observatory deck, watching the planes, i wanna go on holiday!

T3 looks very nice with the green interior, but I didnt have chance to sit on the comfy seats, cuz I was rushing for my flight (and I got mistaken for being a Korean once again, Arg)

Had breakfast at Wang Jiao, Leecher ordered Set A while I had the mee rubus (which is quite spicy)

Leecher happily eating his eggs, haha.

Our picture before I went into the departure hall ~

See you guys on Thurs, missing everyone!

Double Date

The 4 of us met up on Friday - rather last minute due to my fault - to chill out together. After walking to Esplanade in search for food, Qian decided that she would rather eat at Palm Beach, so we walked back to One Fullerton again.
Waiting for the food to come , was famished after walking the long distance.

The side dishes that were finished in like 3 seconds as soon as it arrived.

View from our seat

Qian and ZZG

Ryan and Me

PS: too bad gals, the guys are attached. However, if you're ever interested in any of them, just let me know :) There's always room for negotiation, hahahaa.

Fried You-tiao

Double Baked Crab a la Singapura - this dish is mouthwatering, the cheese on the crab, heavenly.

Chilli Crab - Yummy

Almond Cereal Prawns

Fried Man Tou

After dinner, we couldn't decide what we want to do - so we ended up going to Holland V to visit Kenneth's shop. Turns out that both Ryan and ZZG know Kenneth too. Imagine the look on Kenneth's place when we turned up together.

Wine Cellar

Qian and Me posting for pics while the guys were puffing away outside.

We decided that its time to change partners for the night :)

must meet up more frequently, to add on to gossip.com (as coined by ZZG, haha)

A day in the Office ...

This week - in the office - was pretty busy, for there are visitors arriving from Tokyo and London office. A surprise (gasp!) gift from my Tokyo colleague ... love the chocolates!

We popped by Raffles Hotel during lunch time for the conference ... but didn't take much pictures - must be professional ma, how can look like a kid going around taking pictures? haha ...The lovely courtyard - great for lazing the day

Looking for the The Ballroom ...

Walked past the Raffles Hotel Museum, but I didn't have the chance to go in and take a look...

Wanted to stay for lunch @ the conference - heard that the food is good - but decided not to, cuz its buffet style, thus, had to stand and eat and talk, so we left and walked over to Raffles City Shopping Centre . Raining day ~ love the cool weather.

Couldn't decide on what to have for lunch - so we ended up walking the basement of Raffles City Shopping Centre 3 times, trying to think of what to eat. In the end, we decided on Japanese food at this restaurant.

Andrew, my new colleague (Andrew, you're featured here! Wave~)

Me, while waiting for my food to come ~ hungry

Ordered the Soba Tea - eh, no comments abt the taste.

Since the shop's highlight is on soba, Andrew decided to try the soba noodles. It's not bad and the white-looking thing is delicious, taste like our version of nian gao - sticky and chewy.

I ordered the beef rice bowl with egg and didn't know that it came with udon, I couldn't finish the food - but the beef was not bad, though it's a bit salty.

Walked past J.Co and saw donuts! OMG, I have a soft spot for donuts. This new outlet is seriously giving Donut Factory a run for their money, for there were like 4 pple queuing outside Donut Factory while 20 over pple queuing outside this outlet. Bought almost all the donut flavours to try.

The gal in the last pic is Sandy, our new receptionist - and she took over my title of being the youngest in the company :(

That's my table - ya, its a bit messy cuz I am seriously doing work here, and with 3 monitors. Gosh, i am such a busy person :P

This is the only thing on my noticeboard - a love charm that Leecher gave me during our 6 month anniversary. The vodoo doll - which is me, by the way - is all tied up, so I can't go out and date/flirt with other guys except Leecher.

And lastly, a view from my office, located on the 30th floor of the building. (well, the sky's a bit gloomy for it's been raining for the past 4 days) Oh, did I mention that I can actually watch the F1 race in the comfort from my office? heehee.....

Tat's all folks!
