Merely Ice Cream

A uni friend took a leap of faith and opened his own ice cream shop. We went along to lend our support to him for the soft opening of his shop. Located at Sunshine Plaza, it was approx 10 mins walking distance from the MRT station.

Sunny weather, just in time for ice cream!

Congratulatory flowers displayed outside the shop :)

The post-it ice cream cone had became the trademark of this shop! Kudos to the owners for their creativity!

All ice creams are freshly made (without any preservatives) and sold within the day. Closing hours can vary, depending on the availability of their stock.

Boss Tham :)

We were there around mid-noon and the ice creams were selling out fast! Peanut butter selling out fast, so I had to grab a scoop.

The elves helping out at the shop.

Sneak peek into their working station, but no photography allowed.

Treated to their freshly roasted walnuts with Gryton Chamomile tea ... heavenly. I could really snack on these the whole day.

Foodie BFF at her mini "interview" with Boss Tham, so she could pen her review on her blog (http://thefoodchapter.blogspot.sg/2012/03/merely-icecream-sunshine-plaza.html)

We ordered 3 scoops to share: peanut butter, cereal mile and strawberry. Thumbs up for the peanut butter, as it had chunks of peanut butter within :)

Brought the new camera out, still trying to adjust to all the different modes of shooting.

It was at this place that we discovered BFF was in the running for MyPaper Executive 2012.

Haa, memories!

With Boss Tham, Minqian, Chloe (BFF's sister). Finally meeting the sister after soooooooo long!

*Waves hi!* Hope you're still reading this blog, haha!

High tech register, using an Ipad! And also, promotions are in the pipeline as well :) Do drop by if you're in the area.

Tham (thumbs) up for the ice cream :)

Hi babe! The new camera is not bad, quite like the pictures taken :) It's definitely heavier as compared to dent dent, but still manageable. There are different preset filters to use as well, but nowadays, I tend to stick to Auto mode, heehee! The hubby also recommended Canon as another brand to look out for :) hope this helps!
